UXWizz was nominated in Craiova, Romania. At the time, the product was already focused on one clear idea: useful website analytics should be practical to self-host.
UXWizz combined stats with heatmaps, session recordings, goals, events, and visitor journeys. Instead of sending analytics data to a shared vendor platform, customers installed the product on infrastructure they controlled.
That direction still shapes UXWizz:
Privacy requirements were pushing more teams to review where website data went and which processors received it. Self-hosting did not remove the need for consent, notices, access controls, or retention rules. It did give teams more control over the server, database, backups, and deletion process.
The award campaign ended, Google completed the move from Universal Analytics to GA4, and UXWizz continued to add features and improve installation and maintenance. The original point remains: analytics software should make its operating model and data flow clear.
